Cataclysm Official Release Date!

Blizzard have finally announced the official release date for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
While the date is slightly later than previously thought, it’s still this year, which is a start!
We can expect the game to be available in shops on December the 7th 2010, or you can order it now from Amazon by clicking below, and have it on the release day if you select First Class at your Amazon checkout!
World of Warcraft: Premades on PTR for EU Players!

As you may have noticed, the premade queue for the public test realms (currently testing 4.0.1) in World of Warcraft is always full for EU players – Now there’s a way to play a premade for EU players, albeit on the US public test realms.
Follow these simple steps and you’ll be able to try out any class you want at level 80, in high end raid gear, without the hassle!
- Visit the account management page over at battle.net.
- Choose “Add a game”
- Choose “Buy digital game”
- Now – go to change game region, and set your region to “America”

Digg – New Design a Flop?

Since the recent re-design over at Digg.com, it seems disgruntled users are voting with their feet.
Many people don’t like the new design, favouring the old layout – This has had a knock on effect on the site’s traffic, as reported by Hitwise.
Reports show that since the end of August, Digg.com has lost almost 35% of its UK traffic, and over 25% of its US traffic.

Facebook offline again – for the second time in 48 hours.

The hugely popular social networking site Facebook went offline Thursday, for the second time in 48 hours.
Users attempting to visit the site, used by over 500 million users worldwide, were greeted by a white page with a “DNS Error” message, instead of the usual website, used to keep in touch with friends, family, and strangers alike.
Facebook staff quickly posted a message over at their Twitter page @Facebook stating
Facebook may be slow or unavailable for some people because of site issues. We’re working to fix this quickly.

WoW: Cataclysm – Guild Leveling and Talents

Hi everyone,
Following up from my post on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm being announced, I thought I’d expand on some of the new guild features.
In this post, I’ll specifically be touching on the subject of Guild Leveling and Talent Points. Guilds will level up similar to the way players do, and will be able to reach a max guild level of 20. The levels will be granted by obtaining a certain amount of Guild Experience, some of the ways to obtain this are;
- A member of the guild gaining a level
- A member of the guild gaining a reputation rank

Ulduar: Flame Leviathan Easy Mode.

Since the release of Ulduar back in World of Warcraft patch 3.1, I’ve come across a lot of people, both in Guilds, and in PUGS, that don’t know you can activate Flame Leviathan in “Easy Mode” (that is, starting it so you don’t need to destroy all the towers to disable them).
These people talk to Lore Keeper of Norgannon which enables Hard Mode – You then have to kill all 4 of the Orbital Defense System towers in order to kill Flame Leviathan in easy mode.

Blizzard have announced their next exciting World of Warcraft expansion pack – “World of Warcraft: Cataclysm” packed full of exciting new content!
From new zones, to new raid encounters, to reworks of the classic zones, including Flying in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms and a full redesign of all original vanilla content.
