Apple has released Bootcamp, a program for OSX that will repartition your drive without formatting OSX and allow you to then natively install Windows XP, with full driver support.

In order to run Bootcamp, you will need a few things. Obviously (and most importantly) you need an Intel powered Mac, such as an iMac, or a MacBook Pro. Along with that, you will need the latest firmware update, and OSX 10.4.6. After ensuring you have all of the requirements, install Bootcamp, partition your Windows partition, and reboot from the XP disc.
