Choose Intel Mac boot drive via remote control
macsupport.ca had posted a tip on their website that tells you how to select your boot device on your Mac using the included remote control. I personally find this rather pointless, seeing as you must get up, turn it on, get the remote, and go back to where you want to choose it, but it’s still cool being able to do it via the remote control.
To select your Mac boot drive with the Apple Remote simply press the remotes “Menu” button just after you hear the startup chime of your Mac. Then when the startup drive selections appear use the “forward/backward” buttons to select the corresponding volume and then press “play” to boot from that volume.
