8GB and 10GB Nanos coming this summer!
Apr 22nd
It appears that this summer, Apple will be releasing two new versions of their iPod nano, one with 8GB storage and one with 10GB storage.
Munster’s reasoning is that, as the touchscreen iPod will likely not now appear until next year, Apple needs to launch something eye-catching in time for the lucrative run-up to Christmas – and bigger capacity nanos fit the bill nicely.
Sounds exciting, but something I don’t understand is, if the Nanos use flash emory, how can you possibly fit 8 or 10 GB’s in flash? This definitely isn’t my area of expertise..

Radeon x1600 in MacBook Pro Massively Underclocked!
Apr 19th
Well, it seems as though some Mac enthusiasts have discovered that the Radeon x1600 video card in the MacBook Pros are actually severely underclocked, from 470MHz/470MHz to a pathetic 310MHz / 278MHz. Now, don’t get me wrong, it is still an amazing video card, however with a video card so powerful, why let it under perform? By downloading ATI Tools beta version 0.25, you can overclock (normalclock?) it back to its desired speed. However, there are draw backs — if you do this, you must put up with a higher fan speed, which makes more noise. I also read at More >
Stream your iTunes Music to your PSP
Apr 18th
Sahas over at Skatter Tech has posted a guide on his blog on how to stream music from your iTunes library onto your PSP, using it’s built in Wi-Fi.
Sony’s PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a very popular device and has sold a few million units, but when compared to Apple’s iPod, the PSP lacks storage space. Luckily, the PSP has a built in WiFi card to make up for this disadvantage. With a few simple steps, all of which are included in this tutorial, anyone can stream any non-copyright music from their iTunes library to their PSP
Sounds interesting enough. The non-copyrighted music More >

In other news, TTO is now a part of D3 Networks! This doesn’t really mean anything to the viewers, but a lot to me. It’s just a network of sites, networking IntelliForums, TTO, and a few other sites.

Did you know that Google makes 12 cents every time you search?
Apr 12th
According to BBC News, Google makes 12 cents every time you place a search using their search engine. Considering that over 27 billion searches were performed in January of 2006, that’s a lot of money. If my math is correct, which it usually isn’t (which explains my F in algebra last semester), they made $32,400,000 in the month of January from searches. I’m not sure if this can be classified as technology news, persay, but definitely something to know.
New Google Interface
